Western Tanager

Adult male in non-breeding plumage. Yellow body with bright yellow rump patch, black wings with a yellow shoulder patch and a white wingbar below the shoulder, pale and thick tanager bill, slight reddish towards front of face. Seen well by 7 birders in a large Live Oak tree near the staff parking lot at the Pascagoula River Audubon Center.
