Red-necked Phalarope

Thinner, pointed black bill,than the Red Phalarope. Black cap, and black eyestripe visible through spotting scope. Both birds seen together for a while. Confirmed by Eric Rimpa, and other birders doing WPBO fall count.

Red Phalarope

Thicker, blunt bill than Red-necked Phalarope, black stripe through eye, visible through spotting scope. Seen in close proximity to the Red-necked Phalarope; for comparison. No pictures; too far, and water too rough. Confirmed by Eric Rimpa, and other WPBO spotters.
