A real surprise shortly after I arrived! Associating with at least 2 SAVS in small grassy area NE of Community center, between tennis court and pond. When spooked, it would take cover in sycamore tree next to water. First seen at 3:18 pm on the ground, then flushed to sycamore; seen again at 4:28 pm perched in chain link of tennis court fence, whence it flushed to sycamore. Noticeably smaller/more petite than SAVS. Plain, buffy breast with white lateral throat stripes. Strikingly obvious crown stripes when it looked at me head on. When viewed from the side, small pale bill with very obvious whitish supercilium over dark eye stripe, buffy malar and pale mustache. Bird could have been photographed well with proper equipment, but all I had was cell phone.
