Bicknell's Thrush

not an i.d. to take lightly. heard flight note, high pseees descending, not inflected, and found bird. GIS rounder-headed and shorter winged than GCTH. Brownish face, vague gray eyering, distinctly brown back and tail, brightest on tail. No buffy loral stripe and call rule out Swainson's, as do warm tones above (except western ssp); lack of distinct eyering, not brown enough, no tail flicking rules out HETH and slightly early for that. Flight call, warm tones, shape rule out GCTH.
