COVERAGE: About half of the 80 acre "campus." SKY: Clear. TEMPERATURE: 59-79 degrees Fahrenheit. WIND: None at start, increasingly breezy during visit.

    Comments: were flyovers together. White on inner hind wings suggests Lesser Scaup. Even so, not sure to species as it was a quick look as they flew over together.

    Comments: Continued from yesterday. Refound today by Matt Grube. Observed together by Bob Barnes, Brian Daniels (took pictures), Matt Grube, (took pictures) Barb Kelley (took pictures), Sandy, Koonce, Nancy Overholtz (took pictures), and Ron Overholtz. Seen in the afternoon by Gary File, Michael Huang (took pictures), Jim Lomax, John Luther, and Alison Sheehey (took pictures), ID: Yellow throat, eye-ring neater and thinner than MacGillivray's, eye-ring not quite complete, yellow throat with some grayish wash in some lights showing between throat and chest, grayish head and sides of head, relatively flat looking top of head, prominent greenish-yellow streaks on wings, dark eye, most of time on ground, sometimes as high as 15'-20' up in trees, stayed near water, retreated into thick reeds from time to time, no wing bars, yellow undertail coverts extended farther down undertail than mentioned in NGS guide, quite bright yellow lower chest and upper belly through to and including undertail coverts, light grayish upper sides except for dull greenish upper tail, bill appeared dark,...
