A conservative count. Mostly counted males because I have an easier time telling them from BWTE than the females.

Yeah, this is an unusual number of SATH for Chester! The birds I saw were moving around together in little flocks. I got great looks at every bird I counted. There were probably twice as many as I put down.

There were only a few BRSP at Chester earlier in the summer, but they were everywhere today. Small sparrow with clear breast and relatively long tail. Head striped, but not strongly.

This sparrow was within 50m of the place I saw a LASP earlier in the year. It flew up and perched on a fence about 15m from me. A large sparrow (yet slender-looking) with a strongly patterned head. When it flew I saw the white outer tail feathers + white corners of the tail.
