    Comments: Alerted to their presence by diagnostic call ("quick three beers"). Large pewee-like flycatchers with very prominent dark "vest" and relatively shorter tail. A larger and more robust flycatcher than Western Wood-Pewee, which occurred in the same area. Three individuals observed on dirt trail on the northern outskirts of Cooke City proper. Trail skirted healthy pine forest and widespread area of burnt snags.

    Comments: Individuals of all ages observed, including a striking male (yellow and black with a burnt orange face). A couple grayer individuals, although still showing obvious wing-bars, pale bills, and yellowish heads and undertails.
