Comments:
Wandered all around to the east of the road in a big zig-zaggy loop. Returned to car for a bite to eat, devastated at the lack of grasswrens. Met a birder couple, Keith and Lindsay, who had gotten a quick glimpse a bit further south. I headed that direction and lucked into a group of four Carpentarian Grasswrens - awesome.

After hours of searching, found a group kicking around the dry creekbed just south of the parking area. Awesome views. Quite vocal. Four is my best estimate - definitely more than three, but could have been five.
