I wasn't surprised to find this species here but I was surprised to see that there are no recent records in eBird. Is that right? Male song heard repeatedly for much of the time we were present. Could not
Confirm visually because it was in the reeds. Deep, resonant and soft hu-hu-hu-hu-hu starting soft, with greater intensity and volume in the middle, falling off at the end. Fast with the whole thing lasting just a couple of seconds. The main candidate for confusion would be PBGR, but the pitch, cadence and tone are all quite different.
