Nest with four eggs in the absolute wide open. Both birds did the broken wing display before I even got close. Construction work is being done immediately around the nest, and after talking to a worker I learned that they had marked off the nest to avoid it. I was very happy to hear that, although just afterwards a bobcat was seeding grass around the nest and I imagined how freaked out the birds must be. A very fun find, but their future is not very certain.

Flying back and forth beyond opposite treelines; assuming it was traveling to and from a nest. This is, and I say this 100% truthfully, my first breeding record, and only a probable one at that.
