Singing from Cottonwood grove during heat of day. First detected by burry and lethargic song "three-ay . . . three-ay" song. Was then able to track bird down. Saw a small passerine with non-descript lower body and yellow to yellow-green upper body (i.e. head, throat, upper breast). Distinctly lighter 'spectacles' in loral area and surrounding eye. Afterwards brief audio recording was obtained.
