1

Singing from Cottonwood grove during heat of day. First detected by burry and lethargic song "three-ay . . . three-ay" song. Was then able to track bird down. Saw a small passerine with non-descript lower body and yellow to yellow-green upper body (i.e. head, throat, upper breast). Distinctly lighter 'spectacles' in loral area and surrounding eye. Afterwards brief audio recording was obtained.

3

Singing from dense vegetation along Seasonal Rd. in North Loop. Individuals giving distinctive 'to-be to-be t-be' song from dense roadside vegetation at three well-spaced (~.25 mi) points. In each case, singer was quite close to car, and not calling from location of previous point. Highly unlikely individual would have followed car a mile or so.
