Submitted from eBird for iOS, version 1.2.0 Build 62

Observations

  1. Number observed: 4
  2. Number observed: 14
  3. Number observed: 7

    Comments: Tally

  4. Blue-winged Teal x Northern Shoveler (hybrid)

    Number observed: 1

Comments: Note the white tertials and tail, which means that one parent is a NSHO. The speckling on the sides indicates BWTE. The facial crescent on this bird is definitely weaker than the norm for this cross; also atypical is the lack of contrast between chest and sides.
