Flew around tip during first hour of count. Identified as a male wigeon by large white patch on upper wing coverts. Except for a paler crown, head appeared uniformly dark, contrasting with paler neck and body. Certainly the same bird that was seen the evening before at the Tahquamenon River mouth.
