continuing bird spotted at 2:45; slender black backed, winged and capped with white neck and lower parts on long delicate red legs; long, needle-like black bill. Observed for fifteen minutes during which time he flew on several trips to back of open water. Last seen in marsh north of tower in the west toward Ringle Rd.

Do not understand why one would have to add marsh wren with a square mile of cattails in a marsh on April 30! Birds were vocalizing traditional songs.
