Wind E, light, shifting west very light, sunny with temperatures rising to 21C/70F. 45 minute sea watch from Rodeo Beach, followed by a circuit of the main lagoon. Mammals of note: 3+ Bottlenose Dolphins swam north about 150 yards offshore, 2+ Harbor Porpoises offshore, Gray Whale swam north c. 350 yards offshore and 2+ River Otters in the main lagoon .

The continuing 1st year bird flew past Rodeo Beach at c. 7:35am. Third day in a row that it has now been seen. This time it was a little further out from Rodeo Beach at about 300 Yards and flew south past the furthest point at Bird Island. See description for April 5, 2016 sighting.
