COVERAGE: Kern River County Park group picnic area upriver from Lake Mike, Lake Ming, picnic area on bluff above west end of Lake Ming, Hart Memorial Park unit, and en route through park in between.

Flying around low over Lake Ming during our entire visit. No Tree Swallows detected. When turning in favorable light, all swallows had light green backs (vs. steel blue-green in Tree), white well over the top of the tail, and several were close enough to see the white up and over the eyes.
