We are ensconced in fog this morning. There was 0.30" of rain last night and a skiff of snow is on the canyon floor. The overnight low was 27 degrees F., but it was 29-30 degrees at daybreak, and the bird bath did not freeze. High today 37 degrees F.

  1. Number observed: 1

Comments: Calling in the foggy gloom down by the creek 100' in front of our home this morning at 7:15 a.m.

  2. Number observed: 1

Comments: Male perched on our utility pole and calling just as a shower began at dusk.

  3. White-crowned x Golden-crowned Sparrow (hybrid)
