Dark phase, held wings sort of M shaped similar to osprey, grey trailing edges wings, drifted by with a Red-tailed hawk. Seemed about the same size. Head & bill buteo like. I was walking down the dead end path and the Red-tailed & Swainsons drifted over fairly low but I follow them except for that period when they were overhead.
