Found by Joel yesterday. Had to search and scope for a couple hours to find this bird. Eventually it was seen about half-way between SE corner overlook and Lieber's point near a small group of Mallards. Basic plumage. Large dull yellowish green bill. Stocky grebe. Similar in size to Mallards nearby. Gray face outlined by dark top of head, nape and neck. Pale front of neck.
