Many on water and many flying, with white primary wedge and black spot on head.

Still present and seen by many; larger than Bonaparte's gulls with black under the wing. Found earlier and pointed out to me when Paul Dunbar joined me at the South Shore Campground. Both of us searched through large rafts of waterfowl for rarities. None found. It should be mentioned the number of waterfowl was likely larger than my meager attempt to estimate the number present.

454

When I left about 4:15, it was windy from north and rainy. Many gulls (most likely ring-billed were coming in to roost on lake).
