After spending a while looking for a Cave Swallow (after missing at least one yesterday) on the flagpole lawn and at the IC and not seeing anything, I headed north along the waterfront to leave the park. When approaching the CRRNJ terminal near the ferry, a swallow flew in from the Hudson River, heading southwest (roughly towards the IC). It was chunky but small with a squared tail and was pale underneath (including pale throat), to rule out Cliff Swallow. I had a brief but decent view before it passed by and became backlit as it continued on. Cave Swallow(s) reported in LSP yesterday as well as scattered reports today from the general vicinity.
