- Sixteenth half-hour leg of southbound cruiseship trip on the Crown Princess. Observers included Clark Blake, Tom Crabtree, Bob Doe, Ken Fry, Jeff Gilligan, Dan Kearns, Bob Lockett, Ed McVicker, Judy Meredith, Skip Russell, Owen Schmidt, Catherine Waters, Robert Waters, Jay Withgott, Adrienne Wolf-Lockett, and Sheran Wright (16 total, with perhaps 12 at a time on average). Mostly sunny, no precipitation. Seas rough, w/ waves hindering visibility. Wind from behind us at speed of travel, so no wind interference with observation. 1 Whale sp. spouting.
