Flew in off the ocean at c. 8:15am over the southern end of Rodeo Beach and continued east into the Headlands. First picked up about 0.75 miles offshore flying about 200 feet over the ocean and being harassed by a few Heermann's Gulls. Soldiered on and the eventually the gulls lost interest. Great sight. See one was seen at Mt Davidson in San Francisco earlier in the day.
