Louisiana Waterthrush

One of the target birds for the trip. We first heard it chipping - it was so loud it sounded closer than it was. We were on the Par-3 Course there, and it was across the lake towards Central Park, walking along a sandy beach. The broad white supercilium that was thicker behind the eye, and the buffy color to the underparts, particularly behind the feet, all suggested Louisiana rather than Northern Waterthrush.
