I was surprised to see this bird in cell 3. It is certainly the same immature found by Allen Chartier based upon photos. It was with the gull/tern roost but not associating with either bonies or ring bills. The bill is still all dark. The hood still had an almost Franklins like look with the dark rear taking a brownish tone when viewed from string sidelight (hard to see). Dusky under primaries seen well as it preened.

Includes one juvenile hatched this year.

Glossy/White-faced Ibis

Three Plegadis were seen in silhouette flying at dawn low over long pond. All dark with long decurved bills and long legs. Only one recorded here as plegadis sp here under the conservative assumption that the two White-faced Ibis seen later were part of this trio.
