Bonaparte's Gull

Big raft of adults sitting on the water 100 feet from shore. Compared with nearby Franklin's Gulls. These gulls were smaller, had black instead of red bills, and when they flew you could see the legs were pink. There were also numerous adults and first year birds flying. White front edges of wings were visible etc.
