NW 5-10 clear sunny, cold at dawn (38F); arrived 45 mins early so just stood and listened and ID'd what I could; (only took 1'20' leaving at 0435--81 miles) birded with Debbie Segal, Dotty Robbins, & Janet Leavens; we walked 2 miles out where we watched a Bobcat from afar then hiking back, finally got the GB Anis!! At 1045 I had stopped to shed a few layers while the others went ahead and one landed 10 ft from me then flew across the trail with the 2nd one!! I had time to call out and everyone had brief views, they did not stick around. Ran into 4 birders from Daytona, had met Chuck Teague? And his wife last year here. They shared the YBCH with us!! Flycatchers did not cooperate, only LEFL heard and seen besides EAPH. Perfect day for hiking but sparrows didn't co-op either. Missed the Lincoln the other Grp had.
