Comments:
Don returned from his hike (Rita had been on the Lodge grounds in a.m.), then we visited feeders much of early afternoon, and then joined Saturnino for a walk along the main road and forest edge. Then we all watched flowering bushes near the lodge until dusk. This checklist includes a few birds Rita saw in the a.m. also. Overcast, cool, threat of rain but only a few light drizzles.

2 ad male with full tail, 1 ad male with one spatule missing, and one imm male with shorter tail (2 spatules), plus 2 females at flowers. Near dusk we witnessed a male doing a courtship hover near a perched female that included clapping the two spatules together! Photos & video of many of these (but not the display)
