Rare for Cape May county but species is expanding southward from northern parts of the state. Originally found by TR.

Frustrating! Small secretive sparrow. Def. smaller then SASP, Hard to get good looks, hid in bayberry bush running around base in sand. One quick look through my bins I observed orange/yellow facial pattern that is consistent with STSP & NESP, good possibility it could have been a GRSP though. Did not see supercilium & could not get a picture.
