**rare | basic plumaged bird picked out of BOGU flock in flight. Dark wing linings obvious when scanning through the flock; wings shorter and rounder tipped. No leading white edge to wing as in BOGU. Eventually picked out of the roosting flock (thanks to a patient birding group) where it was noticeably shorter winged (lacking primary projection) and slightly more black markings on nape and crown compared to BOGU's ear spot.
