Comments:
I was with an Audubon birding group led by Bob and Lucy Duncan. The temperature was in the high 80's and the sky was mostly clear.

The back and head of the flycatcher were generally dark colored with no wing bars and a notched tail. There was a dark patch of feathers extending along each side of the breast and flanks. The two dark areas were separated by white feathers extending from the chin along the midline of the breast to the white undertail coverts. It remained perched at the top of a tall snag for approximately 10 minutes allowing for observations and photographs. I have photographs available for confirmation
