One pair present today, which have attempted breeding over the last 2 months, without success. Usually 7 birds at this location, and have been for at least 9 months. This property is a haven for raptors, and today there were Black Kites, Whistling Kites, Spotted Harriers, Black-shouldered Kites (all breeding), Brown Falcons, Kestrels and a pair of Black Falcons, all within 500 metres. Recently Swamp Harrier, Little Eagle, Wedge-tailed Eagle and Peregrine Falcon have also been seen here. Paul Taylor #219062
