Walked the Sphinx Track from the park gate to the creek and back this morning between 10 and 11:30. Good numbers of Yellow faced and Scarlet HEs in the woodland near the Sphinx memorial. Flushed a Common Bronzewing from near the path and saw a Crested Shrike Tit high up in a gum tree about 200m down from the path entrance. Also 1 Superb Lyrebird, several Golden & Rufous Whistlers, Grey Shrike Thrush, thornbills and rosellas. Reported by Tom Wilson. Sighting 3207, Sphinx Track, Ku-rin-gai NP.
