Comments:
Australasian Figbird. 4 Australasian Figbirds, possibly a family (one adult male and one immature bird [photo] visually identified), were seen this morning at Eulah Creek, 20 km east of Narrabri. They were sitting in a lemon-scented gum tree in windy conditions ahead of a weather change. This is the farthest west I have ever seen an Australasian Figbird; to my knowledge it is the first sighting for this location, right at the western base of the Great Dividing Range. Site:Eulah Creek. Observer:Michael Dahlem, Bas Hensen
