Comments:
Small numbers of birds heard calling flying in a circling northerly direction from our yard. Calls confirmed by Simpson & Day's Birds of Australia CD. This is a yearly event on clear starlit nights in late summer and early autumn and is repeated in a reverse motion in late winter and early spring when birds are heading south perhaps to areas like the Werribee WTP which are due south of Melton. Reported by Micah & Julie Kawalek. Sighting 2870, Melton South.
