I went looking for the Black Whiskered Vireo that had been previously reported. I found it in the golf course along the cart path that runs north from the back of Couturie Forest. After crossing the bridges over the lagoon follow the path that veers left. It goes north into the golf course. There are 2 large pine trees along the path to the right. The bird was in the brush to the left of the path singing and when I pished it popped up and into the second pine tree. Later it flew into an adjacent oak tree (north of Pines) and sang for approx. 10 mins.
