*Rarely observed in Brooklyn, though undoubtedly under-detected. Found on a speculative nightjar vigil with Sean Sime and Heydi Lopes when they picked it out calling about 35 minutes after sunset. Photos and video. Breeze Hill. Another one was heard faintly responding in the distance simultaneously as well. Very cool.
