Photos by Karmela Moneta. non-Mute Swan with large, straight, all black bill. long, thin, straight neck with some duskiness. Body feathering also retained a trace of duskiness.

large, dark shorebird. In scope, showed long, slightly upturned bill, reddish color on the head and neck, down the chest to the lower breast. no visible barring.

photographed in flight by Karmela Moneta. bird showed very conspicuous white border around face and back of reddish eye. also showed reddish facial skin and in flight, redder legs than Glossy Ibises it was flying with. seen in direct comparison to Glossy Ibis at fairly close range through 32x Leica scope
