Large raft in the bay were agitated by a Snowy Owl which swiped at the waterfowl several times as it headed towards the barges. All departed en masse towards the Verrazano Bridge - count estimated in flight.

Picked up flying off the park and out over the bay - agitated the large rafts of sea ducks by repeatedly swooping at them. Lost from view as it flew low towards the gravel barges.
