20 minutes sea watch from Rodeo Beach, the western end if the main lagoon and then the eastern end if the main lagoon and inner lagoon/lake. Wind SW, light, cloudy with mist/fog for up 200-300 yards, drizzle, 14C. 3 River Otters seens with the main lagoon.

A pale 1st winter that arrive from the NW from the ocean, circled the western end of the main lagoon with a flock of gulls before leaving SW along the coastline. Strikingly white plumage versus 1st winter Glaucous-winged Gulls. Key characteristics included bright white primaries and pink base to the bill. Good record!
