I was at the green tower with others for a migration watch. Others saw the Swainson's sailing to the west. I had difficulty getting on the bird but finally got on the bird when it was 400 meters away. Viewed with my scope. Fortunately, this is a distinctive species and I was able to see the two-toned underwings with dark flight feathers. McCoy's comments: (ad. light morph; spotted at 10:40am simultaneously by Brendan and I gliding in from the east, then seen circling over the Hawk Dune for several minutes before continuing westward; 5th Dunes Area record)
