Snow Goose
1
Snow/Ross's Goose

*Possible Ross's Goose- North dike after the dog leg. I never got the chance to see its head or bill well, but overall it was silver, lighter gray than typical immature SNGO. My brother an amateur birder, actually pointed it out to me as being smaller than the other snow geese (he was using my binoculars). I took the bins and got a look at it for about 1/2 a second before it took flight with 30-40 SNGO. As it flew north over the road it was obviously smaller than the other SNGO in the flock. I have never seen Ross's Goose before so I cannot be sure about the size ratio in comparison to SNGO, but the size difference was obvious.
