Probably a first-cycle Thayer's Gull. It was seen on southwest corner of the dam's bay.
-It was between the sizes of the Ring-billed Gulls and Herring Gulls present.
-It has a small rounded head with dark eyes, and a less robust all black bill.
-Its body was a uniform medium gray with primaries which were darker than the body color.
-It also had pale almost translucent undersides of the wings.
I didn't see it in flight so I didn't get a look at its primaries to see if they were two-toned or not, and I didn't see its secondaries.
