Rusty Blackbird - reddish-rusty cap, mantle and upperwings. Gray rump with black tail from above. buffy supercilium and stripe below eye framing darker, broad stripe through eye. Light eye barely visible at distance with which we were viewing bird. Whitish throat becoming buffier on breast with darker grayish suffusing belly. Call note heard was something like a "chick" Watched for three minutes before it flew north never to be seen again (at least by us).
