Seen and photographed at the same time. I am quite certain that a fourth bird was also present.

Nelson's/Saltmarsh Sparrow (Sharp-tailed Sparrow)

Could not get a good enough look to determine which species, but the gray nape was seen well to eliminate the possibility of Leconte's. When flushed there seemed to be a lot of gray on the scapulars and back which would be indicitave of Nelson's (Ammodramus Nelsoni Subvirgatus).

Seen well walking in front of us 15 feet away on a trail near the village marsh surrounded by dense vegetation.
