Comments:
There were a large number of passerine migrants moving through the point today, with 13 warbler species recorded. The brisk north/northwest winds were responsible for such a strong movement.

The first was seen halfway down the point and the second two near the tip. Tiny , long-tailed birds, white below and gray above; long tail feathers black at center and white at outer edges. All three were seen at close range for extended periods; easily watched as they hawked flying insects.

Plain yellow warbler of average size lacking any distinctive markings, streaking, etc. Black eyes; pale edges noted at tertials; wings and back darker (browner) than the rest of bird. Quite obviously a late Yellow Warbler.
