Impressive movement of BLJAs moving along coast early. Multiple large flocks of 70+ birds were observed lifting up and moving north. Multiple layers of birds at different altitudes were visible on multiple occasions. A conservative estimate.

Continuing - found by Jack Coulter on 5/8/13, poor record shot below, single dark spot on cheek, brown cap, gray collar wrapping around nape, slightly smaller than hosp.
The bird was observed high up in a deciduous tree for several minutes before taking off with 4 HOSP and climbing high above the lighthouse and flying off to the southwest at long range. I would not be surprised if we watched this bird depart for good.
