This was a male in almost complete breeding plumage. The bright yellow bird with black cap and wings had the typical conical beak. There was a little white on the lower belly where the bird had not gotten all of its breeding color. Several other birders identified bird as well.

Orchard/Hooded Oriole

This bird did not seem to fit the picture of a first year Orchard Oriole. The black chin did not come thru the lore area and its beak was a bit longer and curved than the orchard oriole first year bird (according to Sibley).
