Brown-headed Nuthatch

Life Bird. I was the first to spot this bird. Small nuthatch with a brown cap, whitish under parts, the back, wings, rump and nape were a bluish gray. It was clearly a Brown-headed Nuthatch. It was in the same tree as the only Yellow-bellied Sapsucker present. I was told later that this turned out to be a record for the area. Many observers got on the bird and were quite excited by the find.
