*rare-drake in flight. Others had better looks, but the bird was obviously smaller-bodied and smaller-billed than surrounding Mallards in flight; blue patch in the upperwing coverts apparent in flight.

*rare-continuing birds. large, light brown shorebirds; appeared larger than surrounding American Avocets; head and bills were tucked in most of the time, but one was actively feeding and long, bicolored bill was apparent.

*rare-observed by Jeff chasing a Red-tailed Hawk through the marsh. Likely a Peregrine Falcon.

*rare-bird observed visually and audibly by all observers. Bird was dull yellow overall with a slightly brighter yellow in the throat and neck areas; gave the distinct "bag of marbles" chip note several times.
